Antarctic cruises with AE are truly some of the most incredible voyages on the planet, sailing from the Southern tip of South America and taking in the wondrous sights of the Antarctic Peninsula, the most accessible part of the continent, filled with huge mountains and flanked by huge glaciers. Follow in the footsteps of Ernest Shackleton & Roald Amundsen who led voyages to this pristine wilderness many moons ago, you'll no doubt spot some of the remnants of their travels on your own expedition. Explore the fjords and islands on the western coast, scattered with penguin rookeries. From Elephant Island to South Georgia, where you can visit Ernest Shackleton's final resting place and marvel at some of the largest wildlife spectacles on earth, elephant seals and penguins are all the eye can see!
Travel to remote coastlines with AE Expeditions, where few others have ventured. The Arctic encompassed the northernmost latitudes on earth. From the incredible glaciers of Greenland to the captivating and unique wildlife of Svalbard and the endlessly picturesque volcanic landscape of Iceland, the Arctic offers something for everyone, at its most rugged and wild. With AE Expeditions, you'll sail into the heart of these wonderful lands, exploring marine-rich waters by Zodiac, searching for polar bears on the pack ice, and observing seals and whales in an untouched wilderness.
