In the summer of 1988, Adventure Canada ran its very first Arctic expedition—a camping trip to Baffin Island, Nunavut. These days the company brings travellers to the Earth’s great wild spaces, including the high Arctic, the Northwest Passage and Newfoundland & Labrador. They also travel to places such as South and Central America, Europe and the Pacific Northwest.
Adventure Canada specialise in expedition travel. Guests will voyage in a comfortable environment aboard small ships equipped with Zodiacs to bring you to communities, wildlife habitats, and natural wonders in safety and comfort.
The Expedition team is composed of ornithologists, archaeologists, biologists, geologists, historians, oceanographers, marine mammalogists, anthropologists and other scientists that turn your time travelling with Adventure Canada into a voyage of discovery. Whilst you discover a world filled with pristine wildlife and mesmerising landscapes, the Adventure Canada team seek to educate and enlighten guests about our beautiful, fragile world. They support a science program and local communities wherever they go, giving back to the local communities they visit.
Adventure Canada is a family business and welcome people of all ages to experience the world with them. The Expedition team has many years of experience and will make learning fun and informative, deepening your cultural connections and scientific understanding of the world's farthest and most remote regions.
