In the afternoon transfer to the PONANT group hotel for a final night in Buenos Aires, where there will be an evening welcome briefing about the upcoming cruise departure arrangements, and a chance to meet some of your fellow guests travelling on L’Austral. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Ushuaia. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the port to board L'Austral. (B,L,D)

As the ship navigates across the iconic Drake Passage, enjoy lectures from the expedition team to learn more about Antarctica's history, environment and wildlife, and join naturalist guides on the upper deck to spot birdlife such as albratrosses and Cape petrels flyign ahead. (B,L,D)
