The ship is suited for expedition cruising among small islands and offer good open deck viewing areas. It has 2 Zodiacs that enable landing and a close encounter with wildlife. s/v Rembrandt Van Rijn is a small ship: the expedition team is constituted of 12 experienced crew including 2 tour guides, it can accommodate a maximum of 33 passengers in 16 cabins. 1 Triple Private cabin (with shower and toilet and porthole), 6 Twin Private Inside cabins (with shower and toilet, no porthole), 9 Twin Private cabins (with shower and toilet and porthole).
This expedition is for travellers looking for an adventurous journey and attracts independent-minded travellers (from the 30s to their 80s with a majority from 45 -65 years old) from around the world. They are characterised by a strong interest in exploring remote regions. The camaraderie and spirit that develops aboard is an important part of the expedition experience. Many departures have several nationalities on board.
