Silver Wind underwent a major refurbishment in December 2018 and is due to join Silversea’s expedition fleet after a second upgrade in the summer of 2020. A new ice-strengthened hull will make her one of the most luxurious ships in the polar regions. Timelessly elegant, and luxuriously relaxed, the ship will be just at home in the frozen waters of the Arctic and the Antarctic as it is in the Mediterranean and Caribbean.
Equipped with a fleet of Zodiac boats, guests will be able to visit the most remote locations in the polar regions. The expertise of the expedition team will help you deepen your own understanding of the history, landscape and wildlife of the planet’s last great wildernesses.
As a polar expedition ship the Silver Wind will have a capacity for 296 guests and 212 crew.
