Charter Leader: Martin Rosas
Martin is a highly experienced expedition leader and guide, with over 10 years of experience in Antarctica. He is a highly regarded biologist, and his passion for nature has led him to participate in numerous maritime-based research projects, including studying shorebirds on the coasts of northern Patagonia, San Antonio, and the Río Negro.
In 2018 and 2019, he participated in Project AWARE’s shark conservation program in Florida’s coastal waters. More recently, Martin has been involved in the collection of underwater coastal data in his home waters of Argentina for the conservation and study of various ocean mammals, including whales.
Martin has worked aboard the MV Ushuaia for a number of seasons, and he knows the vessel inside out, ensuring that we will be able to make the most of our time in Antarctica.
